Honor scholars at Mars Hill College are active learners. They learn by doing, participating in 35 hours of community-based activities each semester. Beginning with the freshman class in fall 2001, students will be able to fulfill this component of the Scholarship Program through the LifeWorks Learning Partnership® Leadership Program. Participation will involve community action (averaging 1½ hours per week) coupled with weekly meetings to reflect on the experience. Scholars will receive one credit hour each semester for participation in the Program.

There are several funded scholarship programs at Mars Hill. To get more information on each, click on the links for the Bonner Scholars Program, Grayson and Marshbanks-Anderson Scholarships, and faith-based scholarships (includes North Carolina Baptist Scholars and Leo White Scholars).
